"Minutes To Midnight" fue lanzado el 20 mayo de 2007 en los Estados Unidos, y el 14 de mayo del mismo año en otros países. El primer sencillo, "What I've Done", fue lanzado el 2 de abril de 2007. El álbum muestra el nuevo sonido que la banda ha desarrollado ,la diferencia de este trabajo con los demás no sólo reside en el sonido ( de nu-metal a rock alternativo ) sino en la duración del trabajo; alrededor de 6 meses para los otros trabajos y 14 meses para Minutes To Midnight.

Este disco muestra la evolucion de la banda, no suena como los otros discos, ahora es un sonido mas que nada progresivo. Las canciones tienen letras mucho mas maduras. Se dice que es el mejor de sus discos, aunque muchos fans no piensan igual.

premios y nominaciones y Minutes To Midnight se alzó con el número uno de las listas de ventas en la primera semana,puesto que abandonaría el 27 de Julio y recuperaría por breve tiempo en septiembre gracias a su segundo single Bleed It Out.

Los productores del disco son Mike Shinoda(miembro de la banda) y Rick Rubin, quien ha trabajado con artistas como Red Hot Chili Peppers, Audioslave, Metallica,System of a Down, Limp Bizkit, Slipknot, U2 y muchos otros más.

Live in Texas es el primer DVD en directo de la banda Linkin Park. El concierto fue grabado en directo durante la gira Summer Sanitarium Tour 2003. Se puso a la venta el 18 de noviembre de 2003.

Debido al éxito que obtuvieron con Hybrid Theory y Reanimation, pasaron bastante tiempo de gira por Estados Unidos, y tuvieron que trabajar para su nuevo álbum en el autobús de la gira. La banda anunció la producción de un nuevo álbum de estudio en Diciembre de 2001, cuyo título sería Meteora (tomado del nombre de una catedral griega). Meteora ofrecía nuevamente rap metaly nu metal, aunque también fueron introducidos en el álbum nuevos sonidos e instrumentos como una flauta japonesa.

El disco fue lanzado el 25 de Marzo de 2003 y vendió más de 800.000 copias en su primera semana. Los sencillos extraídos del álbum fueron Somewhere I Belong, Breaking the Habit, Numb , From the Inside y Faint, que fueron lanzados con sus respectivos videos musicales. El disco vendió 3 millones de copias antes de Octubre de ese mismo año.

Hybrid Theory es el primer álbum del grupo de nu metal Linkin Park, lanzado a la venta el 24 de octubre de 2000.

En el año 2001, este álbum fue el mejor vendido en Estados Unidos. Es además, el álbum debut que más copias ha vendido en el siglo XXI, con 20 millones de compras a nivel mundial. La RIAA lo certificó como Diamante (10 veces Platino) en Estados Unidos. Es notoria la falta de lenguaje soez, común en el género nu metal.

El nombre Hybrid Theory era originalmente el de la banda. Luego de problemas con derechos de autor con una banda inglesa llamada Hybrid, el nombre se convirtió en Lincoln Park, y poco después distorsionado a Linkin Park. Recordando sus inicios, el álbum conserva el nombre original.
